From sunken lanes and smugglers paths to the virtual landscapes of computer generated worlds, Still and still moving will explore responses to human movement through space and time, both real and imagined.

The festival will disrupt the surface stillness of its rural setting, with art and creative community activity. Exploring the different ways we navigate, understand and connect to the world around us, from ancient way making and international trade to the almost imperceivable slow or unseeable motion of plants and rocks. We invite people to walk with us, stray off the path and discover new ways to think about the journeys we make.

Further plans for workshops and events, including circle monument making, bookbinding and a communal lunch during the festival and more artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
