Thanks to everyone who came to the Dawe’s Twineworks open day at the weekend and helped out with the first flax harvest for many years. You can find some photos of the day here.
We would love for you to join us on Sunday 2 October (2-5pm) for a Flax Gathering event which will be held at the Twineworks, a couple of weeks before the Ropewalkers exhibition opens at OSR projects. It will be a day for people to bring their harvested flax, meet other growers, pull the remaining flax and a have a glass (or two) of cider to celebrate the first flax harvest in West Coker for many years. All welcome – it would be lovely if you can join us.
