We offer creative, hands-on clay workshops for primary and secondary schools at our studio.

Our workshops introduce pupils to three fundamental hand-building techniques: pinching, coiling and slab building. Along the way, pupils learn about clay, how to prepare and handle it, different hand building techniques, and a range of surface decoration methods.

Workshops can be built around a specific theme, or we can work with a topic, subject or project that your school is currently exploring. Whether you are looking for a one-off creative session or a 3–4 week course, we can work with you to create a workshop that suits your pupils, learning objectives and budget.

Led by Simon and Chantelle, our workshops are accessible and inclusive, welcoming pupils of all abilities and experience levels. No previous experience with clay is necessary — just a willingness to get creative and have a go!

Once the workshops are complete, we will glaze and fire the pupils’ creations, with finished pieces ready to collect within six weeks of the classes.

We’d love to work with your school to create an engaging and memorable clay experience for your pupils.
