When we moved into The Old School Room in 2011 it came with a very tired looking Village Noticeboard and we have always planned to replace it. Finally, ten years later, here it is.
We are planning for the OSR projects Noticeboard to be our outdoor ‘gallery’ and to kick things off we will be celebrating local creativity, inviting our local community to present artworks that have been made over the last year.
If you live in West Coker or the surrounding villages and would like to submit some work please read on.
Noticeboard is our new out door Covid friendly gallery and we are looking for submissions of any art work that you have created in the past year or maybe you are working on something now to be exhibited. It can be anything from drawings, photography, written word to pictures of your allotment or favourite sourdough creation. If anyone needs any help scanning or photographing their work please let me know.
Please email up to 3 images of your artwork to chantelle@osrdesign.co.uk (Subject line: Noticeboard) we will also need the title of the artwork (if it has one), your name and a brief description about the work. You do not need to be an artist to be in this gallery and we are looking for submissions from all ages and levels of experience.
T&C’S: We will print the image. OSR Projects team will select the artworks to be displayed. Due to the expected number of applications we will not be able to show all the submitted artworks. Display dimensions 880mm wide x 730mm high
