DESCRIPTION:Common Salt is a performance around a table – a ‘show and tell’. \nIt explores the colonial\, geographical history of England and India taking an expansive and emotional time-travel\, from the first Enclosure Act and the start of the East India Company in the 1600s\, to 21st century narratives of trade\, race and culture. Sue and Sheila activate insights into our shared past\, laying out a ‘home museum’ of objects and stories; of the Great Hedge of India\, of borders\, and collections – all accompanied by original Shruti box laments. \nCommon Salt is a reckoning; the interconnectedness between history and global power\, artefact and trade\, race and memory is hidden in plain sight. \nSATURDAY 1st FEB 2020 – 3pm & 7pm \nWe seat up to 25 people around the table for each performance\, so please book in advance.\nBOOK TICKETS HERE \nor call 07967 756 356/01935 862 201\n£5 / £3 Concessions – Students

DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKETS HERE \nJoin us for our fundraising Party at Coker Court to support Od Arts Festival 2020 – Alone with Everybody \nThere will be a live performance by Phil Owen where you will hear a song collected by folklorists from the local area a century ago\, followed by a Silent Disco run by the brilliant Shush Events … so don’t forget your dancing shoes. \nThere will also be a Gin Bar (other drinks will be available) and a special Od Arts festival soup available on the night. \nThere are a limited number of tickets so please book early to avoid disappointment. \nAll proceeds go towards the Od Arts Festival 2020 – Alone With Everybody taking place 15-17 May across the villages of East and West Coker. \n  \n**Tickets do not include food or drink

DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of Esme’s 90th birthday we are delighted to present a selection of work made by one of West Cokers most talented residents.\nEsme’s approach to making art comes from a desire to make\, to use her hands.
